Bringing your pet into the vet

Cats must be transported into our hospitals in a secure cat carry cage. If you don’t own a cat carry cage you can ask our reception staff about loaning one from our clinic.

If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or a history of fear biting we ask you alert us of this ahead of time. A muzzle must be worn into the hospital to ensure the safety of our staff and the animals who are also visiting our practice.

In the case that your bringing your puppy/dog into our hospital with vomiting and diarrhoea symptoms and it hasn’t been vaccinated or hasn’t completed it full puppy vaccine course please remain within the carpark. Notify us on your arrival and we will perform a Parvo Virus test prior to inviting you into the hospital. Parvo Virus is highly contagious and resilient so to avoid other pets from contracting this virus we kindly ask for your compliance and understanding.

Payment plans

We understand that veterinary treatment can be expensive particularly when it’s an unexpected visit. This can be an emotional time for you and your family as well as the potential financial strain.
Our consultations are very competitively priced, one of our Supervets will provide you with an estimate of costs for treatments and depending on your financial situation can discuss alternative treatment plans that are more comfortable for you to pay.
However our clinic doesn’t offer any payment plans.

We will ask you to sign a consent form and request a 50% deposit to commence treatment. Once your pet is going home we ask for remaining bill to be paid in full.
