Mobile Vet Consults

The benefits of in-house veterinary consultations:

  • Keeping healthy pets at home – not spending time in waiting rooms with sick animals.
  • Reducing unnecessary stress and anxiety for your pet.
  • Eliminating the rushed time constraint that is commonplace in most veterinary clinics. During home visits we allocate one hour for all consults this results in better understanding, examination, history and education which in turn leads to better advice and treatment plans.
  • Assisting owners who find it difficult to get their pets into vehicles to visit a vet due to mobility or other reasons.
  • Being able to easily identify irritants in your pets home environment.
  • Providing education and delivering a holistic approach to your pets lifelong wellness.
  • We work with each family member to educate and advise the best “game plan” for any problem we are faced with.

More information

How far do we travel?

We don’t charge any extra for home visits within a 10km radius from our hospitals. If you reside outside of this we can absolutely still get one of our vets out to you for an additional travel fee. Call our friendly reception team for more information.

What times do we do home visits?

We operate our mobile vet consults between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday through to Friday for both our Manly West and Hendra hospitals.

How much is a home consult?

A home veterinary consult is $98. The vet will spend an hour with you at your home and provide a thorough examination and history of your pet.

What if my pet needs hospitalisation?

We recommend that home visits are made for routine concerns however if after examination and discussion with yourself the vets treatment plan involves further diagnostics your pet will be safely transferred to our hospital for further management.

So pleased with our at home visit recently by Dr Michael. Muffin our 14 year old dog couldn’t have been more relaxed. Thank you so much. We know she will be in good hands if she needs it.
